My name is Anne and I want to help more women cycle in their everyday lives. Cycling is a great activity – it gets you from A to B at minimal cost and also helps you to stay fit and healthy. Cycling is freedom!
I have been cycling on and off since I was a child but I have not always found it easy! Now cycling is my main way of getting around for shorter journeys. I love the freedom of travelling this way and want to share this with you – and help you feel confident cycling on the road. My goal as a cycling instructor is for cycling to be something you will want to do again and again – the aim of every session I run is that you will want to get back on your bike and soon!
My teaching style is supportive and empowering, and builds on years of personal cycling as well as experience gained in other sectors and my cycle instructor training. For four years I worked with adults with disabilities supporting them into employment. I worked with children as well as vulnerable adults for a number of years and understand that people need different teaching styles and motivations.
I specialise in teaching women and am happy to teach small groups and families as well as individuals.
With the right opportunity and the right bike, I believe that anyone can cycle.
My relevant training and qualifications:
- Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training (1st 4 Sport accredited by the Bikeability Trust)

- Introduction to Safeguarding Adults in Sport (Ann Craft Trust)
- Child Protection in Sport and Physical Activity (NSPCC)
